This was a fabulous experience for my family, the first time with my daughter. It is always a joy to ride on a classic steam pulled train. The route is beautiful with lots of nature to look out for. The 2 1/2 hour break in Saint-Valery gave us a chance to explore this lovely town. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. As for the customer service, par excellance.

Great experience for any time traveller. During the ride you're brought back in the past when coal and steam were ruling the world. At a reasonable but relaxed speed you're enjoying a rural scenery and the joy of 'basic' train travel. You can open the windows or go to the back of each wagon to enjoy the real experience; but be aware — the smoke of coal can stain clothes (something you might not know), so be careful when you go outside. 😉 The ride takes about 2h back and forth; so lovely family activity on a sunny afternoon!

Great steam train experience for the family. Left Le Crotoy and went to La Valerie. Spent time there shopping and had lunch. Came back 2 hours later. Very helpful staff and friendly.

Beautiful train ride through the Somme countryside. I you like steam trains up close you will love this. Especially when the trains switch track half way through Highly recommended

Very cute little town and station. Even had an older gentleman playing music on an old hand cracked music box as he sang along. A truly quaint experience. Parking is the only issue
